This was my first job as an interior design assistant to Natalie Howe! Check out her work! http://www.nataliehowedesign.com/
I love her style and I was so happy I had opportunity to start doing what I love!
Her client needed the condo designed and furnished ASAP! We went initially to get first impressions, measure up and discuss what the client needed. After a very profitable brainstorming session I left with a list of tasks!
The client had already bought the brown leather sofa you’ll see on the before photos below so my task was to focus on the living room area and find a tv console, swivel chairs, a coffee table, another extra chair to go in the room to compliment and balance the space, a reading lamp, a side table, art for the dining area and some other decorative elements! I was so excited! I started immediately!
Natalie asked me to do some renders once we had an idea of what kind of furniture we would be presenting to the client. It can really help a client to have the visuals to help get an idea of what the space will look like in the end.
Not everyone is able to imagine an empty space and that’s great because I so wanted to get my hands dirty with markers and pencils. I’m a strong believer that nothing beats the beauty of a hand drawn presentation board so despite many years working on computers I got to work on my easel.
